Sony DSC-T2 ✮ Under €200
Storage built into the body, a lens that never leaves it, and a sliding cover in place of a power button — the T2 removed most of the reasons a camera gets left at home. Sony's colour runs cool and contrasty, which is what makes flash-lit pictures from these read as sharp rather than muddy. The cheapest T2 we currently have in stock.
