TERMS & CONDITIONS – SALES, RETURNS & WARRANTY

 

These Terms apply to all purchases made through StudioSai, worldwide.

By placing an order, the customer agrees to these Terms.

ARTICLE 1 – Product Information

StudioSai provides accurate descriptions of each product, including:

  • Product condition (New, Pre-Owned, Refurbished)

  • Technical specifications

  • Shutter count (when available)

  • Visible cosmetic condition

  • Product origin (EU or Non-EU import)

Customers are responsible for reviewing all product information before purchase.

Minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with the stated condition do not constitute a defect.



ARTICLE 2 – Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers Only)

The 14-day right of withdrawal applies only to customers located in the European Union, in accordance with applicable law.

Withdrawal period: 14 calendar days from the day after delivery.

To qualify:

  • The product must be returned in its original condition.

  • All accessories must be included.

  • No excessive use is permitted.

Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer unless the item is proven defective.

StudioSai reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with these conditions.



ARTICLE 3 – Inspection & Depreciation

Customers may inspect and test the device to verify functionality.

Excessive use voids the right to a full refund.

For cameras, excessive use includes but is not limited to:

  • More than 50 additional shutter actuations

  • New scratches, dents, impacts, or liquid exposure

  • Missing accessories or altered packaging

If depreciation is detected, StudioSai may apply a deduction of up to 20% (or more if justified) to reflect loss of market value.

Refunds may be refused if the product cannot be resold in its original stated condition.



ARTICLE 4 – Refund Conditions

Refunds are processed within 14 days after:

  • Receipt and inspection of the returned product, or

  • Proof of shipment (at StudioSai’s discretion).

Refunds include:

  • Product price

  • Standard shipping cost only

Express shipping upgrades are non-refundable beyond the standard rate.

Refunds are issued using the original payment method.

StudioSai reserves the right to withhold refund until inspection confirms compliance.



ARTICLE 5 – 2-Month Limited Commercial Warranty

All products include a 2-month limited warranty from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers:

  • Mechanical failure

  • Electronic malfunction

  • Functional defects not caused by misuse

This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Accidental damage

  • Drops or impact damage

  • Liquid damage

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Excessive shutter usage

  • Damage caused by improper handling or third-party accessories

Warranty claims require:

  • Clear video/photo proof

  • Description of the issue

  • Return for inspection if requested

If inspection reveals misuse, the warranty claim will be rejected.

StudioSai reserves the right to choose between:

  • Repair

  • Replacement

  • Partial refund

  • Full refund

Return shipping is covered only if the defect is confirmed.



ARTICLE 6 – International Orders & Customs

For orders shipped outside the EU:

  • Customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

  • These charges are non-refundable.

Customers must follow return shipping instructions precisely.

StudioSai is not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by customs

  • Additional import/export taxes

  • Incorrect customs declarations made by the customer

Failure to comply with customs instructions may result in deductions from the refund.



ARTICLE 7 – Delivery & Risk Transfer

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery.

Claims for lost or damaged shipments must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

Failure to report within this timeframe may result in rejection of the claim.



ARTICLE 8 – Limitation of Liability

StudioSai shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss of income or professional use losses

  • Data loss from memory cards or devices

Maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.



ARTICLE 9 – Dispute Resolution

Customers must contact StudioSai in writing before initiating any dispute or chargeback.

StudioSai reserves the right to contest fraudulent chargebacks with documented evidence including product condition photos, packaging proof, and delivery confirmation.
