SHIPPING, RETURNS & WARRANTY TERMS

 

These terms apply to all purchases made through StudioSai worldwide.

By placing an order, the customer agrees to these conditions.

 

1. SHIPPING & DELIVERY

1.1 Delivery Timeframe

Orders validated before the daily cut-off time are processed promptly.

Estimated delivery time is within 48 business hours, excluding weekends and public holidays.

Delivery times are estimates only and do not constitute a guaranteed obligation.

StudioSai shall not be liable for delays caused by:

  • Carrier delays

  • Customs clearance

  • Force majeure events

  • Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer

If delivery is significantly delayed, customers must contact StudioSai before requesting cancellation.

1.2 Transfer of Risk

StudioSai remains responsible for the shipment until the package is marked as delivered by the carrier.

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon confirmed delivery.

If signature delivery is used, risk transfers upon signature confirmation.

Customers are encouraged to inspect the package upon receipt.
Claims for visible damage must be reported within 48 hours with photographic evidence.

Failure to report within this timeframe may result in rejection of the claim.

1.3 International Shipments (Non-EU)

For products shipped outside the European Union:

  • Customs duties, VAT, and import taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

  • These charges are non-refundable.

StudioSai is not responsible for customs delays or import refusals.

Where applicable, products comply with CE standards. Documentation may vary depending on product category and availability (particularly for vintage or pre-owned items).

2. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL & RETURNS

2.1 14-Day Withdrawal (EU Customers Only)

Customers located in the European Union may withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days from the day after delivery.

To qualify:

  • The product must be returned complete.

  • All accessories must be included.

  • The product must remain in its original condition.

Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer unless the item is proven defective.

This right applies only where required by applicable consumer law.

2.2 Product Use & Depreciation

Customers may test the device to verify functionality.

Excessive use may result in partial refund or refusal.

For cameras, excessive use includes but is not limited to:

  • More than 50 additional shutter actuations

  • New scratches, impacts, or signs of misuse

  • Missing accessories

StudioSai reserves the right to apply a proportional deduction reflecting loss of resale value.

2.3 Refund Conditions

Refunds are processed within 14 days after:

  • Receiving the returned product, or

  • Receiving proof of shipment (at StudioSai’s discretion)

Refund includes:

  • Product price

  • Standard shipping cost only

Express shipping upgrades are refunded only up to the standard shipping rate.

StudioSai reserves the right to withhold refund until inspection is completed.

3. LIMITED WARRANTY

3.1 2-Month Commercial Warranty

All products include a 2-month limited warranty from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers:

  • Mechanical failure

  • Electronic malfunction

  • Functional defects not caused by misuse

This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Accidental damage

  • Liquid damage

  • Drops or impact damage

  • Unauthorized repairs

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Excessive shutter usage

  • Commercial or professional overuse

StudioSai reserves the right to:

  • Repair

  • Replace

  • Issue partial refund

  • Issue full refund

Warranty claims require proof (photo/video evidence) and may require return inspection.

If misuse is detected, the warranty claim will be rejected.

3.2 Hidden Defects

Customers may benefit from applicable mandatory legal protections in their country of residence.

Claims must be made within a reasonable period after discovery of the defect.

StudioSai’s liability shall in all cases be limited to the purchase price of the product.
